I always love when we’re accidentally lost and ended up with finding an interesting new place to be visited.
This is Lake Doul in Peyriac de Mer – Aude. I love the wood bridges that will take you from the lake to the hills. They’re very photogenic teehee. But unfortunately we’re not able to go until the top of the hill because petit monsieur dislike the insects around it. So we turned back. But I saw a group of tourist who would do a trekking. I guess the distance to reach the top of the hill is quite long. Don’t worry the hill’s road is not a difficult one, even petit monsieur could walk easily – but keep prudent always.
In this cold and cloudy Sunday I want to take you around one of the site Medieval in France, located in Carcassonne – Aude département. We went there like…hummm three times already?.
We like this place so so much.
This Medieval site has fireworks spectacle at July, 14th for celebrating French National Day. They said it’s very magnifique. I’ve never seen it tho, pardon if I can’t give you any pictures of it. One day may be?.
It’s one of the most visited place in South of France, so there’re a lot of restaurants and souvenirs shops around. You can also visit the castle for 8,50 euros (under 18 years old is free of charge). But becareful if you bring a stroller you have to leave it outside as you’re not allowed to bring it inside. Of course you have to carry your baby by your own as there’re a lot of stairs inside the castle. The castle is not child friendly. So if you choose to visit it, please pay attention to your kids. Don’t let them stay alone.
Happy happy holidays guys!.
